Scandlines unveils new management team
We are delighted to announce that Eric Gregoire and Mikael Koch Jensen will join Scandlines as CEO and CFO respectively. Michael Guldmann Petersen will continue as COO, and together the three will make up Scandlines’ Executive Management Team.
Eric Gregoire will start in July 2024 and comes from a position as CEO of Goodpack Pte Ltd. in Singapore. He is an experienced business leader with a solid track record in business process improvements from several international companies such as General Electric and DuPont.
“Scandlines is strongly positioned for the future as an innovative and competitive provider of maritime transport between Germany and Denmark. Eric Gregoire comes to Scandlines with the commercial and international experience needed to further optimise Scandlines’ business processes – not least to ensure an excellent customer experience,” says Vagn Sørensen, Chairman of Scandlines’ Supervisory Board.
“I am honoured to join Scandlines, a company with a strong legacy of contributing to the region’s economic development. Scandlines has firmly positioned itself for the future by operating the most innovative technologies for its vessels. I am convinced that the sea will continue to play a critical role in the economy by offering the most cost effective and lowest carbon footprint mobility solution, while providing a superior customer experience. I am excited to be a part of this journey,” says Eric Gregoire.
In mid-May 2024, Mikael Koch Jensen will join Scandlines as the new CFO. Mikael has more than 25 years of experience in financial management and comes with broad knowledge from a number of Danish and international retail companies. At Scandlines, Mikael will take over responsibility for the group’s overall functions within Finance, Treasury, IT and Procurement.
“I am very excited to join Scandlines, taking the role as CFO for the Group. Scandlines’ legacy goes back more than a century, running modern ferry operations with a clear green vision and a proud culture – a strong stand to further strengthen its position for the future,” says Mikael Koch Jensen.
