The Mission to Seafarer’s & My Ocean Life celebrate IWD with photo competition
In celebration of International Women’s Day, The Mission to Seafarers is on the lookout for the best photo of a female seafarer to be featured in it’s next issue of FAN and has joined forces with My Ocean Life, to make this happen!
Launching a photo competition that will run from the 8th of March, 2022 up until 8th of April, 2022, seafarers from around the globe will be able to register for free on the my Ocean Life platform and submit their best photos, for either of the two categories below:
(1) Women Seafarers
(2) Ocean Life (moments on board, from the sea etc.)
The picture from the Women Seafarer category which receives the most votes, will be featured in a special spread in our next issue of FAN Magazine, as a tribute to women in maritime, which is distributed to 14 000 people, while the winner of the Ocean Life category will be featured in article on my Ocean Life.
All participants also receive their very own photo store on the platform, to sell their photos from a life in maritime.
