Successful comeback for Europort Istanbul

 

The maritime trade fair Europort Istanbul resumed on Wednesday after a nine-year break, reuniting the industry at the Bosporus. The event features 400 exhibitors from 45 countries, with exhibition manager Raymond Siliakus expressing excitement, especially about the country pavilions from China, Poland, Greece, and the Netherlands.

Istanbul, a global shipbuilding hub, is surrounded by 126 shipyards in Tuzla, Yalova, and Izmit, which handle new builds, conversions, repairs, and maintenance. The fair, which concludes on 25 October, already has its next edition planned for 2026.
