Exploring the future of maritime industry

On November 19th and 20th, maritime experts from Greece and beyond will gather in Athens for the Hellenic Maritime Forum. The event will bring together shipowners, regulators, technology providers, and more to discuss key industry challenges.

A primary focus will be on the urgent need for decarbonization. With global sustainability efforts gaining momentum, the maritime sector is under increasing pressure to lower its carbon emissions.

The forum will also address seafarer well-being and safety. Recognizing the essential role of maritime workers, sessions will focus on improving working conditions, supporting mental health, and enhancing safety measures for those at sea.

Digitalization and artificial intelligence (AI) will be key topics as well. As technological advancements rapidly transform the industry, participants will explore how digital tools can optimize vessel performance, increase operational efficiency, and improve decision-making processes.

The forum will feature networking opportunities, including a Gala Cocktail Party and an exhibition area. It will conclude with an Awards Ceremony honoring industry achievements, offering a valuable platform for knowledge exchange and collaboration.

Additionally, the forum will feature a dedicated exhibition area where networking and collaboration can flourish. This lively space will allow companies to present their latest technologies, products, and services, offering shipowners and maritime professionals the chance to interact with technology providers, assess innovations, and explore partnerships to drive operational improvements and sustainability.

The event will culminate on the second day with an Awards Ceremony, celebrating exceptional achievements and contributions to the maritime industry.
