DFDS granted three awards: 

  • World’s Leading Ferry Operator for the 11th consecutive year
  • Europe’s Leading Ferry Operator for a decade
  • World’s Best Ferry Operator Website 2021 (first time)

The awards recognise excellence in the global travel and tourism industry and travel technology. The winners are selected based on votes from the public and travel industry professionals.

“We are delighted to be named Europe’s Leading Ferry Operator and World’s Leading Ferry Operator, for the tenth and eleventh year in a row. Our win is particularly valued considering the great challenges we and the rest of the travel industry have faced over the past two years. These awards reflect the determination, hard work and adaptability of our teams onboard and ashore,” Executive Vice President & Head of DFDS’ Ferry Division Peder Gellert says and continues:

“I’m extremely proud that we have also been given a travel technology award this year. Winning the World’s Best Ferry Operator Website award represents the devotion of our staff and commitment to providing the best customer experience across all touchpoints.”
