The world’s largest sportfishing yacht powered by MAN

Royal Huisman will showcase the Special One, the world’s largest and most luxurious sportfishing yacht, at the 2024 Monaco Yacht Show. Also known as Project 406, this 52-meter aluminum-hulled vessel is equipped with two MAN 20V175D-ML engines, each delivering 4,400 kW.

Benjamin Andres from MAN Energy Solutions expressed pride in being part of this unique project, celebrating Royal Huisman’s 140th anniversary. The yacht has successfully completed sea trials in the North Sea and is poised for a memorable debut.

Florian Keiler added that the compact design of the 175D engine makes it ideal for yacht installations, boasting high fuel efficiency and low operating costs, backed by MAN’s global PrimeServ aftersales network.
