6300 m3 Ammonia Carrier on Successful Sea Trial

The vessel is designed by FKAB, built by COSCO Shipping Heavy Industry Dalian for Shenzhen COSCO LPG Shipping.

The 6300 m³ LPG/NH3 carrier is a small size semi-pressurized gas carrier, suitable for transportation of liquified gases such as ammonia, LPG and VCM etc. with 2 type C cylindrical cargo tanks, design pressure 5 bar(g), temperature -48 ^oC and SG 0.68 t/m³

The sea trial was very well organized, efficient and shipyard managed most of the trials and tests within 48 hours.
With FKAB patented F-Bow design and optimized hull form, the actual speed performance during trial is much better than contractual figure.
