Hapag-Lloyd partner Ankeri expands to Singapore
The time charter software provider Ankeri, one of the strategic partners of the Hamburg shipping company Hapag-Lloyd, is expanding its network with a new branch office at a central shipping hub.

In addition to its headquarters in Reykjavik and a branch office in Hamburg, the young company – winner of the SMM Start‑up Award 2022 – has now established a presence in Singapore. “This move strengthens our growing presence in key global shipping hubs and underlines our focus on supporting customers closer to where operational and commercial decisions are made,” the company said.
With its system, Ankeri aims to bring shipowners, charterers and managers closer together. The platform serves as a central data source for managing time charter contracts by linking contract terms, vessel performance and issue management. In recent years, Ankeri has formed partnerships with several major shipping companies, including Seaspan, SFL, Global Ship Lease, Germany’s Ernst Russ and, through a strategic partnership, Hapag‑Lloyd.
The expansion into Singapore – described as a central hub of global maritime trade – is intended to improve access and support for shipping companies across the Asia‑Pacific region, benefiting from the city‑state’s high concentration of shipping activity and established infrastructure.
