Genoa Maritime Forum 2026 boosts industry networking and collaboration
On June 17 - 18, the Genoa Maritime Forum will take place in Genoa, bringing together a wide range of maritime professionals from across the industry. Shipowners that are local, regional, and from across the world will attend alongside ship managers, port authorities, regulators, policy makers, classification societies, and a strong presence of technology companies, suppliers, and service providers.

While the forum features a comprehensive agenda of ten panel discussions, it is equally positioned as a high-value networking platform where business connections take center stage. Throughout the two days, participants will have multiple opportunities to meet, exchange ideas, and explore practical solutions to their operational challenges.
At the same time, the conference program will address key industry developments. Navigating the Green Horizon will focus on global decarbonization strategies, while Fuel Pathways Showdown will compare leading fuel options such as methanol, ammonia, LNG / Bio-LNG, and drop-in biofuels. Sessions, including Energy Efficiency Revolution and Retrofit & Conversion, will highlight actionable steps for improving performance and reducing emissions.
Operational and human factors will also be explored, with The Human Element focusing on seafarer wellbeing and safety, and Cyberproof Operations addressing the protection of fleets and port systems. Innovation-driven discussions such as The Digital Ocean, AI in Maritime Operations, and Next-Generation Shipbuilding will demonstrate how digitalization and new technologies are reshaping the industry. The agenda will conclude with Cruise Fleet Modernization – examining efficiency, compliance, and onboard experience.
A major highlight of the forum is its strong networking component, supported by around 30 exhibitors. Shipowners and ship managers will be able to meet directly with technology providers, maintenance companies, crewing agencies, and other essential service providers offering a wide range of solutions. These interactions are designed to move beyond introductions, enabling companies to discuss their specific needs and identify partners for future collaboration.
Dedicated networking sessions will be complemented by a gala cocktail reception – creating a more informal environment where conversations can continue, and relationships can develop more naturally.
With its deep maritime roots and striking coastal setting, Genoa provides an ideal backdrop for the event, reinforcing its role as a hub for connection, collaboration, and the development of new partnerships across the global shipping industry.
