Posidonia 2026

Posidonia, the international shipping exhibition
Held biennially in Athens, Greece, Posidonia is the world’s most influential shipping exhibition, where
global maritime power meets unrivaled business opportunity.
At the core of its appeal lies the direct connection to the Greek shipowning community, who control
5,543 vessels, 21% of global tonnage, and nearly 70% of the EU’s fleet of strategically significant ships.
Posidonia offers its exhibitors direct access to the most powerful maritime network in the world.
Owners, managers, and technical executives actively seeking innovative partners for fleet expansion,
technology upgrades, and operational support will all be present at Posidonia ready to make decisions
and sign contracts for new collaborations.
With over 40,000 participants from 138 countries, Posidonia 2024 broke records in both scale and
impact, becoming the most widely publicised edition to date. And as anticipation builds for Posidonia
2026, all signs point to an even more expansive and dynamic event.
Beyond the exhibition floor, Posidonia is a hub of knowledge and networking. The Posidonia agenda
features more than 60 high-level conferences and seminars, a calendar of social events for shipping
executives, and the Posidonia Games, where global shipping leaders connect through sports.
Posidonia is organised under the auspices of the Hellenic Ministry of Maritime Affairs & Insular Policy,
the Hellenic Chamber of Shipping, and the Union of Greek Shipowners, and supported by the
Municipality of Piraeus and the Greek Shipping Co-operation Committee.
