DK-Sea Safety becomes part of Square1 Nordic

DK-Sea Safety has worked in maritime safety for many years, building strong relationships with customers, suppliers and business partners. This is due in no small part to the work Hagen Nissen and the company’s employees have put into the business and the expertise they have developed over the years.

Hagen Nissen will remain with DK-Sea Safety following the acquisition and will continue to be involved in day-to-day operations and relationships with customers and business partners.

Hagen Nissen says: “It has been important to me to find a solution that gives DK-Sea Safety a solid foundation for the future while taking care of our employees and customers. I see Square1 Nordic as an opportunity to build on what we have created.”

For Square1 Nordic, the starting point is to build on the foundation that Hagen and the employees have already established. For customers and business partners, the primary focus is continuity. DK-Sea Safety will maintain its current focus on maritime safety solutions, service and the expertise for which the company is known. At the same time, DK-Sea Safety will become part of a maritime group that already includes Marine Technic and MariTeam, with operations in Denmark and Bulgaria.

In the longer term, this will create opportunities to share expertise, resources and experience across the companies where it makes sense for the businesses and their customers.
