Lehmann Marine opens new branches in Europe

The Hittfeld-based battery specialist Lehmann Marine wants to grow internationally and is opening two new branches in the Netherlands and Norway.

Lehmann Marine is expanding its European presence by opening new offices in Eindhoven (Netherlands) and Trondheim (Norway). The move follows the Sunlight Group’s acquisition of a majority stake in the company about a year ago, aiming to support broader international growth.

Both new branches will act as regional hubs to strengthen customer engagement and streamline project coordination. Experienced industry specialists will lead the offices: Ruben Wansink in the Benelux region and Ola Staverløkk in Norway, each with more than two decades in the maritime sector.

The Eindhoven location situates Lehmann Marine within one of Europe’s major high‑tech centers, known for advanced battery development. The Trondheim office places the company closer to Norway’s highly active maritime electrification market and key partners such as system integrators, shipowners, and designers.

This expansion supports the company’s strategic focus on sustainable propulsion technologies, enabling local customers to access its LFP battery systems more easily while bolstering long-term growth opportunities across both markets.
