Acting as a Recruitment Consultant, Tommy Lund has joined the MARPRO family in the hunting of connecting good people to good companies. A familiar face in the shipping industry, Tommy is the ideal profile to position MARPRO further in the shipping industry.
Tommy brings with him nearly 36 years of experience from the shipping industry as Owner/Broker/Charterer dealing in a variety of segments from handy size log carriers, car carriers, coal barges etc. As Tommy would say, “The whole color palette within drybulk shipping”.

MARPRO is steadily growing as the market is looking more and more for maritime specialists in finding the right shore-based employees. Tommy has been working in many different countries and has been exposed to the cultural challenges that follows with that. This has given him a deep understanding of working with people from different backgrounds, both in ethnicity and professionally. From Johannesburg, Hong Kong, Switzerland to Singapore in positions as bulk/dry cargo broker to be part of the freight management team responsible for Glencore’s worldwide coal freight trading book, Tommy has a long and interesting career behind him. Few people in the maritime industry are so well-connected, making him a familiar face in the international and Danish maritime marketplace.
Due his long career, Tommy has a deep understanding of the MARPRO clients’ recruitment needs and requirements. This makes Tommy, a skilled recruitment consultant, able to match the right candidates to the right companies.
