2020 will be recalled as the year where the pandemic interrupted people and society. The effect of the pandemic has altered our social behavior and the way we do business in the maritime world. Companies were forced to convert their business models to the new situation. The result, creative and innovative solutions, an accelerated digital era, and the immense desire to see each other again.
Rotterdam is the Maritime Capital of Europe and home of Europe’s biggest port. It is therefore no surprise that Europort 2021 will be held there.
- 45,000 m2 space
- 10 exhibitions halls
- 14 country pavilions
- 26,076 visitors
- 1,040 exhibitors
Europort 2021 is one of the world’s leading meeting hubs, where the international maritime sector gathers to connect, cooperate, and innovate. The scope of Europort includes specialized ships and smart forward-thinking solutions which drives success. As a business hub for the maritime sector, Europort is the place to showcase your high-tech solutions and meet the right people in real life.
A special kind of Europort
2021 will be Europort’s 40th edition and therefore is this year a bit more special than other editions.
Our seas are filled with opportunities. Our ships are filled with challenges. And our people are driven to turn those challenges to opportunities. We are therefore taking an active role on those maritime professionals who are forward-thinkers and start-ups to join the conversation.
Europort and MARPRO are collaborating to create a new concept dedicated to maritime start-ups, The Rising Stars Pavilion.
The whole intention of the Rising Stars pavilion is to provide maritime start-ups a fair chance of displaying their products and services to a larger audience like EUROPORT, for a budget friendly participation fee.
MARPRO has found the 12 Rising Stars who will be attending the Rising Stars Pavilion, but after a popular demand to expand, we have decided together with Europort to expand the pavilion to 18 Rising Stars.
