Namens Conbit Services BV is MARPRO op zoek naar een Service Engineer voor veldwerk in Nederland, België en soms iets daarbuiten. Het hoofdkantoor bevindt zich in Eindhoven. Conbit Services zal verhuizen naar de Randstad om centraler in Nederland te zijn.

Functieoverzicht

Als Service Engineer bij Conbit Services ben jij het visitekaartje van het bedrijf. Jij komt bij de klant aan boord voor installatie, inbedrijfstellen, onderhoud, aanpassingen en soms reparaties van marine en offshore kranen. Samen met je collega’s zorg je ervoor dat de kraan perfect functioneert. Jij hebt verstand van het mechaniek en de hydrauliek. Het is fantastisch als je kennis hebt van het electrisch veiligheidssysteem, maar als dat niet zo is, geen nood, daar kunnen je collega’s mee helpen. Conbit Services BV zorgt dat jij in een goedgevulde servicebus rijdt met alle spullen die je nodig hebt. Op gereedschap wordt niet bespaard. Ze zorgen er ook voor dat je alle benodigde cursussen kunt doen en certificaten kunt halen om je werk goed te kunnen doen en om overal te mogen komen, tot aan platforms op de Noordzee aan toe.

Belangrijkste verantwoordelijkheden

• Uitvoeren van installatie, inbedrijfsstelling, onderhoud, storingzoeken en reparatie van marine en offshore kranen.
• Uitvoeren van wettelijk voorgeschreven inspecties op kranen om te zorgen dat ze voldoen aan de veiligheidsvoorschriften en industriestandaarden. Het maken van een rapport van de inspectie.
• Samenwerken met een team van specialisten om service bezoeken te plannen en ervoor te zorgen dat deze goed verlopen en op tijd af zijn.
• Vaststellen van electrische, mechanische en hydraulische storingen, waarbij je gebruik kunt maken van de nieuwste en beste gereedschappen en technieken om problemen snel en doeltreffend op te kunnen lossen.
• Het helpen van klanten met technische support en training, zodat ze de kranen zo goed mogelijk kunnen gebruiken en onderhouden.
• Bijhouden van alle belangrijke gegevens van de service activiteiten, zoals werkuren, gebruik van onderdelen en gesprekken met de klant in het CRM systeem.
• Op de hoogte blijven van de belangrijkste trends in de industrie, techniek en uitvoering zodat je jezelf en het bedrijf steeds weer kunt verbeteren.

Functie eisen

• Je hebt minimaal vijf jaar werkervaring in een soortgelijke functie in de maritieme sector of offshore, of een relevante andere sector.
• Je bent goed in het opsporen en repareren van storingen in mechanische en hydraulische systemen.
• Je begrijpt hoe kranen werken, welke krachten daarbij komen kijken en weet hoe je er veilig mee werkt.
• Een goede beheersing van de Nederlandse taal. Je gaat makkelijk het gesprek aan met de klant en je kunt technische mogelijkheden en onmogelijkheden helder uitleggen.
• Je kunt jezelf redden in het Engels.
• Je bent zelfstandig.
• Je kunt goed werken onder tijdsdruk.
• Je bent flexibel en bereid om te reizen naar de klant, soms ook in het weekend.

On behalf of Conbit Services BV, MARPRO is looking for a Service Engineer for fieldwork in the Netherlands, Belgium and sometimes a little beyond. The head office is located in Eindhoven, the Netherlands. Conbit Services will move to the Randstad to be more central near the largest ports in The Netherlands.

The job

As a Service Engineer at Conbit Services, you are the company’s calling card. You come on board the customers’ vessels for installation, commissioning, maintenance, modifications and sometimes repairs of marine and offshore cranes. Together with your colleagues, you ensure that the crane functions perfectly. You understand the mechanics and hydraulics. It’s great if you have knowledge of the electrical safety system, but if you don’t, don’t worry, your colleagues can help with that. Conbit Services BV ensures that you drive a well-stocked service van with all the things you need. There is no cost saving on tools. They also ensure that you can take all the necessary courses and get certificates to be able to do your job well and to be able to go anywhere, even to platforms on the North Sea.

Key Responsibilities

• Installation, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of marine and offshore cranes.
• Perform statutory inspections on cranes to ensure they comply with safety regulations and industry standards. Making a report of the inspection.
• Working with a team of specialists to plan service visits and ensure they run smoothly and are completed on time.
• Diagnose electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic failures, using the latest and greatest tools and techniques to resolve issues quickly and effectively.
• Helping customers with technical support and training so that they can use and maintain the cranes in the best possible way.
• Keep track of all important data of the service activities, such as working hours, use of parts and conversations with the customer in the CRM system.
• Stay on top of the most important trends in industry, engineering and execution so you can keep improving yourself and the business.

Professional qualifications

• You have at least five years of work experience in a similar position in the maritime sector or offshore, or a relevant other sector.
• You are good at detecting and repairing malfunctions in mechanical and hydraulic systems.
• You understand how cranes work, what forces are involved and know how to work with them safely.
• A good command of the Dutch language. You can easily enter into a conversation with the customer and you can clearly explain technical possibilities and impossibilities.
• You can manage to in English.
• You are independent.
• You are able to work under time pressure.
• You are flexible and willing to travel to the customer, sometimes even during the weekend.
