We are looking for a Sales Manager to join Western Baltic Engineering working remotely out of the Netherlands! Your main goal is to grow their client base, advice their existing customer base and increase the sales from the Benelux region. Using your personality, skill and industry knowledge you build strong, long-lasting relationships with key players in the shipping world, offering Ship Design and Engineering services for Shiprepair and Shipbuilding industries in the markets of Cargo vessels, Ferries, LNG, Fishing Vessel, Workboats etc.

Established in 2003, over the years the company has developed from a supportive detail engineering department of a shipbuilding yard to an independent knowledge centre for the maritime industry, focused on various types of vessel and maritime structures design:
- Newbuild projects (fishing trawlers, passenger vessels, RO-PAX vessel, LNG Bunkering vessels, MPV vessel, Dredgers, Special purpose & offshore vessels, Workboats)
- Retrofit projects (3D laser scanning, BWTS, EGCS, and etc.)
- Conversions (change of vessel purpose, vessel lengthening or propulsion system)
- On-site supervision and project management

As an expansion of the dynamic and highly entrepreneurial team Western Baltic Engineering is looking to hire a Sales Manager working remotely from the Netherlands.
Professional Competencies
- Commercial understanding and business instincts
- Proven sales track record in the maritime business (5+ years)
- Experienced in selling to shipowners
- Experience with direct, multi-level sales
- Strong and ever-expanding network in the maritime industry
- Business English and Dutch both verbal and written
- Hunter type with ability to close the order but also able to sell from relationship
- Experience with design and engineering in the maritime business is a plus

- Dedicated and ambitious
- Ability to act individually, but work as a team
- First class relationship management skills
- An excellent listener and problem solver
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, both verbal and written in all layers of the customer’s organization
