Our mission is to eliminate corruption in the maritime sector and enable fair and inclusive trade to the benefit of society at large.

The Role

As the Project Manager for MACN’s Collective Action Programme, you will be in charge of managing anti-corruption initiatives in India, Bangladesh and Pakistan. You will lead a team and coordinate implementation in collaboration with our partners in the region. As part of the role, you will engage and facilitate dialogue with the maritime industry and public sector across South Asia and internationally on how to reduce corruption in maritime trade.

In partnership with leading companies, MACN strives to develop and innovate new solutions that will shape the anti-corruption agenda and you will lead and support workstreams focusing on improving the operating environment and support companies’ compliance journey by developing tools and digital solutions. As Project Manager you will also serve part of an engaged team that works to serve MACNs global membership with leading and facilitating working groups and webinars, discuss challenges with individual companies and support MACNs global members meetings.

Who You Are

You are seasoned Project Manager, with a solid track record of implementing international projects involving multiple stakeholders. Experience in managing a team (that operates globally) and overseeing budget performance and reporting. You are passionate about anti-corruption and how to make the global economy more inclusive. Previous experience from the trade, logistics and/or maritime field and have an international outlook.

Your Experience Includes

  1. 5-10 years of project management and/or transport and logistics experience.
  2. Minimum Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Shipping, International Development, Law, Development Economics, Transport and Maritime related fields or other relevant area
  3. Experience in Project Management including managing and reporting against a set project budget
  4. Experience from international project work
  5. You like to travel and see this as a part of your professional career
  6. Excellent skills in Excel
