MARPRO could well be looking for you.

Our client represents turbocharger makers such as Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Mitsui E&S, KBB, Napier and Garrett. They are a multinational company based out of Dubai-UAE, Bahrain, Singapore, India, Saudi Arabia and will shortly add the Netherlands to their list of represented countries. They perform authorised service and repair for all makes and models of Turbochargers.

For the new, soon to open workshop and office in Sliedrecht, only a stone’s throw from the Rotterdam Port Area, our client is looking to hire an Operations, port clearance and logistics professional.



  • Arrange and coordinate transportation services for incoming and outgoing shipments, including selecting carriers, scheduling deliveries, and tracking shipments to ensure timely arrival including compliance with safety standards.
  • Prepare and maintain shipping and customs documentation in compliance with regulatory requirements. Ensure all shipments adhere to international trade regulations and relevant company policies.
  • Continuously evaluate and optimize logistics processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs. Identify opportunities for automation and implement solutions to streamline workflows.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal teams, suppliers, and logistics partners. Communicate effectively to ensure everyone is informed of shipment statuses, delays, and other relevant information
  • Managing the day to day office work including timely responses to emails and communication received through miscellaneous channels

  • Strong individual worker, good team worker
  • Fluency in Dutch and English language skills necessary
  • Communicative skills
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders across countries.
  • Proficiency in logistics software and tools, such as transportation management systems (TMS) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
  • Flexible attitude
  • Experience with Logistics
  • Affinity with shipping and offshore
  • Proactive approach to resolving issues and improving processes.
