We are looking for an Engineering Service Manager with an electro technical background to get involved in their global service team.

Teledyne Marine is a group of leading-edge subsea technology companies that are part of Teledyne Technologies Incorporated. The position they are looking to hire for is based in Rotterdam.

Their Engineering Service manager will as part of our Global service team address and manage all inquiries regarding service and support for Teledyne Marine Europe product lines.


Your tasks

  • Takes care that all repairs and projects are brought to a good and timely end, both internally and externally (including focus on e.g. invoicing)
  • Plan both in-house repairs as well as on-site installations and repairs
  • Daily basis ensure ALL customer request are addressed timely within given guidelines
  • Perform and participate in weekly coordination meeting with local and global ES engineers
  • Participate in weekly revenue meeting for status of new orders and related local production.
  • Technical relational management with clients and suppliers
  • Assures technical documentation is kept up to date. (MC contracts)
  • Signals and reports deviations (time, money) of repairs and projects
  • Ensures the knowledge of workshop personnel is kept up to date by training and coaching
  • Ensures the Service and Support department operates according to the company’s safety standards
  • Be the primary operational responsible for the Rijkswaterstaat DGNSS project


Job requirements:

  • MBO+, HBO education in electronics
  • Proven experience record in electronics
  • People manager skills with experience in smaller teams
  • Good knowledge of Dutch and English language
  • Good knowledge of computer technology and Windows OS
  • Skilled in operating software packages
  • Basic knowledge of positioning systems is an advantage
  • Able to work in a global team, we are working distributed between countries
  • Take ownership and responsibility, deliver to agreements and keep promises
  • Enthusiastic ‘can-do’ attitude, energetic
  • Interested and engaged with new technologies and industry challenges
  • Interest in the products, use cases, marine domain, customers
