We are looking for a Customer Service Manager Benelux & Switzerland to join Wilhelmsen Group’s team based in Rotterdam! Your main goal is to be a coaching and committed team lead and manager for the customer service team in the Ships Service Division. We supply products and solutions for every conceivable type of ship. Our Ships Service division includes the Unitor, Timm Ropes, Unicool refrigerants and Unitor and Nalfleet marine chemicals product brands. Last year we delivered products to 27,500 ships, in more than 2,000 ports.
About the department:
The Customer Service & Inside Sales Benelux & Switzerland department is located in Rotterdam, one of the largest and most important ports in the world and for that reason a very important department within the organization worldwide. The team consists of 5 Sales Advisors, each with their own customer portfolio. You are also part of the Northern European CS & Inside Sales management team.
Professional Activities
In this position you are the manager of the Customer Service & Inside Sales team. You bear the final responsibility for all activities in the field of customer service, answering customer questions, handling quote requests and orders placed and the final sale of our Ships Service product portfolio.
You do this by managing, coaching and developing your team where necessary, so that the entire team is able to implement sales strategies, product campaigns and promotional campaigns. With this you know how to ensure that the team is able to achieve the KPIs in the field of turnover growth, order value, response speed and customer satisfaction.
- A bachelor’s degree (or similar), preferably in a commercial direction;
- At least 5 years of experience in a managerial position;
- Good mastery of the Dutch and English language in word and writing;
- Experience in the maritime industry is an advantage;
- Analytical skills and digital literacy to help you analyse customer data to identify opportunities;
- You can work systematically and organized so that you keep an overview of all ongoing processes;
We are looking for an experienced manager. You are able to motivate and coach employees in order to get the best out of themselves and achieve optimal commercial results.
You have an orderly and structured working method and you also ask your team to do so. You also enjoy building relationships with our customers and internal stakeholders.
Reliability, communication and customer-friendliness are important qualities that contribute to the success of your team.
