Job Description

 

We are looking for a Commercial Director to join Ecocoast working in their head office in Dubai! You’re an experienced and dynamic Commercial Director who leads their commercial strategies and drives business growth. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in the marine and/or environmental sectors, with a strong focus on sales, marketing, and business development globally. As the Commercial Director, you will be responsible for overseeing the commercial operations, developing strategic partnerships worldwide, and ensuring the company’s financial goals are met.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement commercial strategies in alignment with company goals and market opportunities.
  • Lead and manage the sales team to achieve revenue targets.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities and strategic partnerships.
  • Oversee market research and analysis to stay ahead of industry trends and competitors.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and industry partners.
  • Monitor and analyse commercial performance, providing regular reports to the executive team.
  • Collaborate with the product development team to ensure market needs are met.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients and suppliers.
  • Manage the commercial budget and ensure cost-effectiveness in all commercial activities.

Professional Competencies

  • Master’s degree in business administration, Sales or Marketing, or a related field
  • Minimum of 12 to 15 years of experience in a commercial leadership role, preferably in the marine or environmental sector.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Financial acumen and experience in budget management.
  • Ability to travel as required.
