On behalf of Leth Danish Straits, MARPRO is seeking an Agency Broker.
Leth Danish Straits is currently experiencing success and growth. We are constantly adding new customers, and the existing ones are expanding. We take this as a sign that we are providing and delivering an excellent follow-up service. Established in 2012, the company operates as an autonomous division of Leth, global leaders in maritime Suez Canal transit services. The primary mission of Leth Danish Straits is to ensure efficient and seamless vessel passage through Danish waters, the Panama Canal, and the Bosporus Strait.
Our organization shares an office space with Leth, collectively comprising a team of 12 dedicated professionals who are passionate about the shipping industry.
We are looking for
We are in search of a candidate poised to take the next step in their career trajectory. We envision an individual who shares our enthusiasm for shipping. You might already be working within the domain of maritime agencies or have completed formal education in shipping. Your traits include efficiency, precision, and strong organizational skills, all driven by a commitment to excellent customer service. Given the unpredictable nature of the maritime sector, adaptability, and readiness to step in when required are paramount. Your service-oriented disposition thrives in interactions with various stakeholders. As the pace can sometimes be demanding, your ability to remain composed while juggling multiple tasks is crucial.
Some of your key responsibilities will encompass
- Maintaining oversight of vessel positions.
- Orchestrating and coordinating transit and port stays.
- Participating in a 24/7 rotation (many tasks can be managed remotely via PC/phone).
- Attending business engagements and social events with clients.
- Sustaining communication with local representatives.
- Travel activity in connection with customer visits should be expected.
