DESCRIPTION:  \n\n\n\nNOTE: Event will be held in Danish\nHans Otto Holmegaard Kristensen – or often just referred to as “Hans Otto” – is a well-known person not only within the Danish shipping community but also abroad. Hans Otto has been engaged in Danish Society for Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering for 40 years before he decided to step down in 2022 after having been involved in organizing abt. 450 meetings throughout the years. \nTherefore\, what is more natural this time to ask Hans Otto to be the speaker at this year’s Christmas event on 4 December. Hans Otto has a background as a Naval Architect from DTU and has extensive experience within several areas gained through his various job functions at Force Technology\, Dwinger Marineconsult\, Scandlines\, Danish Shipping\, The Danish Navy\, DTU and last but not least now within his own company HOK Marineconsult. \nHans Otto has been deeply engaged in many important aspects like general ship design\, damage stability\, high-speed ferries\, environmental matters and thereby been involved in dozens of projects and often also being used as an expert by the media in relevant matters.
