About me

Presently a freelance Master Mariner with 42 years’ sailing experience, the last 20 years sailing as Master/SDPO extensively within the offshore oil industry. This work included command experience on all kind of Dynamic Positioning vessels, Warranty & Hands-on Rig moving, Flag and Class surveys, IMO & ISPS inspections & anchor handling operations with 4,8 and 12 point mooring during several shore-pulls with CL and PL. In addition, while in Europe and China, between 2007 and 2011completed a 4 year tour as Marine Site-team member and Liaison-officer between Company (Helix ESG and OCM) and Flag/Class and Shipyard
